Newly Adopted Dogs
The early days with a newly adopted dog can be challenging, especially if the dog is unsure or scared in a new home. There are activities you can enjoy with your new dog that will help them feel comfortable and safe. I can help you with managing the new environment and then training, after an appropriate adjustment period.
Virtual Training
Training at home can help your dog feel more relaxed and secure, especially if they are shy or anxious. Virtual training makes it easy for all family members to participate and allows you to schedule sessions that fit your schedule.
Puppy Packages
Puppies have special needs during each development stage, and starting early is critical. We will cover all the essentials: socialization, house training, cooperative care, and the basic foundational life skills.

My name is Lisa Smiley
Dogs have been a central part of my entire life, and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have shared my home with such wonderful—and sometimes challenging—companions. The lessons I’ve learned from them are countless, and now I feel a deep desire to help others connect with their dogs in meaningful ways.
Our understanding of dogs has evolved tremendously. We now recognize their cognitive abilities, emotions, individuality, and genetics in ways that were unimaginable even 20 years ago. I’m passionate about sharing this knowledge with you, to foster a deeper bond and create the most fulfilling relationship between you and your beloved dog.
I’m a graduate of the prestigious Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Training In Person Track (VSA-CDT) and a Certified Family Dog Mediator (FDM). My philosophy focuses on educating dog guardians on how to meet both their needs and their dog’s needs and have the kind of relationship that you’ve always dreamed of!
Because of the dog’s joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift.
